Welcome to KMHS' 9IST Blog!

Hello, and welcome to the blog for the 2013 Year 9 Information and Software Technology class at Kariong Mountains High School.

This term, students have undertaken a coding project where they were required to create a simple game.  For example, below is the arcade classic PONG.

All students were required to create a version of this game in order to learn about the programming software, Scratch (go to scratch.mit.edu to find out more).

To play this game click on the green flag.   Player 1 will use the W and S keys, player 2 will use the UP and DOWN arrow keys.  The goal is to keep bouncing the ball back and forth between players.  If you miss the ball the other player gains a point.

Use the sidebar to the left to select a student and play their game.  I can guarantee you will be impressed at what they've created!

Thanks,

Mr Quinn
